I have been looking on line for LED headlights. There are so many available , its confusing. Does anyone have any suggestions for LED headlights for my Mk4 cobra?
Thanks

not the classic look of the stock lights, but much brighter and a direct fit replacement

Are you looking for modern-looking headlights, or simply better LED bulbs in a more traditional-looking headlight? There are several companies that make LED drivers that you can retrofit into existing lenses. Breeze Automotive (forum sponsor) has this kit (https://breezeautomotive.com/shop/led-headlight-kit/). They also have other kits that will convert all the exterior lighting to LED. I used something very similar, installed in reproduction Lucas PL700 tri-bar lenses for a more "period" look. They give off a lot of light and work very well. (and before someone chimes in saying that retrofitting LED's to lenses not designed for LED's will just blind everyone around you... no, they don't )

I used the full Breeze conversion set up. Was a simple plug in and works great.

I went with these

Hella housings.

And a pair of Seallight LED bulbs from Amazon. I chose the passive cooled ones. No fan. I think these the the ones.

Those are great looking lights! My current plan is to use what came with the kit and then switch over to LED later and I want that look. Having said that, is the wiring very different for LED?

I used these on my Coupe.

Same wiring as the FFR-supplied sealed-beams (H4 connector) but these have integral turn signal lamps (amber) as well (wired by two wires per side separate from the H4 connector) - easy.

I'm really liking these (they are listed for the 33 hot rod) https://www.factoryfiveparts.com/34652-headlight-with-turn-signal-set/ for $125

I got ones just like the others posted from amazon in my jeep.
Great on Low beam--High beam is a BIG LET DOWN.

Hopefully Mike Bray chimes in here. He has LED lights with integrated turn signals. I’m planning to use the same thing since I want to delete the front turn signals and glass in those spots.

I just spent entirely too much time searching this very thing yesterday. Kinda went down the rabbit hole since my TJ needed new headlights (same 7" rounds). Stumbled across a pretty informative video on the subject:

I ended up going back to sealed $15 replacement headlights on the Jeep. Still undecided on the ones I'll eventually go with for the Roadster.

I got these with my 33 hot rod. They work very well so I got a set for my 68 Barracuda. I wired the white LED light bar as a daytime running light and didn't use the yellow LED.

The ones that FFR sells are made by Uni-Shine and can be purchased off Amazon for about $100 for a set. They also have a version without the light bar and one with a projector inside the housing.

I used Breeze's LED kit. They work and look great and their customer service is fantastic if you should have any questions.

Happy to chime in Matt:) These (https://www.carid.com/1965-ford-gt-headlights/lumen-7-round-led-halo-projector-headlights-950696332.html?parentsubmodel[]=SUBMODEL|With+Factory+2-Headlight+System) are what I'm using. They have dual color halos, I'm using one color for daytime running lights and the other color for turn signals.

I deleted the stock front turn signals lamps, just think it looks better and a lot smoother.

I have the Loyo 7" LED headlights sold as a Wrangler replacement and I LOVE them. I've only had them for about 3000 miles, but they are every bit as good as my 23' VW, and maybe even better! If i remember right they are about $160 for the pair. Here are a few pictures of them installed. You can turn off the daytime running lights if so desired.

I have a set of these Dappers currently in transit: https://www.dapperlighting.com/collections/7/products/seven

I went with a black housing, clear glass and smoked HDR switchback DRL halos. There aren't many reviews of the LED Seven on YT, but forum feedback on pro-touring and others is positive.

Holley retrobright LED headlights

Second for the Holley's. Seems like a really solid unit. I ran mine and they worked great - not fully installed yet but so far so good.
