I found that the fan wasn't turning on, I'm not using a switch just the sensor for turning on/off. Checked the fuses and the fan fuse keeps blowing (swapped a couple times). After some multi-meter work, i found that the blue wire for the fan is being grounded. I then just isolated the fan and hook up the tester for ohms on the blue wire and black wire on the fan itself, its reading 0 across the fan. Does this mean the fan is faulty?

If you are reading that correctly it sounds like you probably have a dead short in the motor. Be a good reason why it blowing fuses.

I hope you're not relying on the sensor to complete the circuit alone. However, if you're reading zero, yes, dead short!

I had two areas where my ron francis harness was wired incorrectly. One of them I found when I kept blowing a fuse. Chased the short to the rear, and after allot of messing around noticed they pinned the connection wrong. Purple and black where mixed going to the rear harness.

Weendoggy- would you recommend also to install a switch for over ride?
