Hello everyone. Unfortunately the place where I have been building my car is not available any more and I can’t build at home as my detached garage had its foundation fail.

Any ideas or places I can continue building the car near Lexington, MA? I’ll need space until it’s warm enough for me to finish up on my driveway.

Thank you!

That’s where I was for the last 2.5 months but they won’t let me anymore. :(

I dont know about your neck of the woods but around here storage units are like drug stores. They are on every corner. Just find another storage unit. Ed

How far are you looking to travel? I may have some space in Pembroke, MA which is 45ish miles from you.

Heh... I work in Lexington, MA. I don't have a spot for you, but I do own a truck and a covered car trailer if you need help moving once you find a place. I'm also available to help build. I drive to Lexington 4 days a week at least.

If by chance you are Military. Hanscom AFB has garage/full auto work shop with a lift space for use for service members. I work @ Hanscom

Thank you for your generous offer. That's unfortunately a little too far for me. I can only work on the car weekdays, from 11ish to 4PM.

My concern is that I might find myself in this predicament again. So I want to avoid a storage unit. It was a great setup too. Ugh.

Small world! :) I might take you up on your truck and trailer offer. I was thinking about logistics today and how getting the engine (it's on a dolly and I have a hoist) along with the tool chest to the new location might be the hardest part.

Unfortunately I am not in the Military.

If nothing works out for you, I could help you finish it in Norton. I have built over 200 FFRs.
