Does anyone know the part number and source for the front brake hoses? I have 99-04 Mustang front brakes from FFR but having trouble finding the right stainless steel brake hose with the 35 degree banjo fitting. I was checking my power steering with the car on jack stands and the passenger side hose snapped at the banjo fitting. Note to self: don't turn the rack full stop when the car is on jack stands. I just read a couple threads where others have experienced the same problem.
If anyone can give me the part number and source, I would be grateful.
I bought a few braided stainless brake hoses from PegasusAutoRacing.com for my '33 Hot Rod. They have a good selection of all brake hoses and fittings. However, there should never be any time throughout the vehicles suspension and steering travel that would stress a brake line to be damaged. Please relocate your brake fittings to provide adequate flex under all component movement-that's just an accident waiting to happen.
I too purchased from Pegasus for my rear brake hoses and fittings. They have a good selection of lengths premade, and will do customs. I went with -3 straight-straight and added a separate 30 degree banjo on the end. Their prices are reasonable.

I am lucky to live in the DFW area and have a Summit Racing store within 45 minutes of my home. I went there today with the broken brake hose and got a new one but it did not have the 35 degree banjo. My car is going to paint in a couple days and needs functioning brakes in order to get it on and off the trailer so I decided to go ahead and get the brake hose without the 35* banjo. Long story short, it did not matter in the end. The problem is the fitting on the caliper hits the trailing leg of the lower A-arm when at complete lock. Even the one with the 35* banjo fitting hits the A-arm. Eventually either will fail unless I can figure out a way to get some clearance above the A-arm.
Has anyone else had this issue? If so, what was the solution? I know pictures would help but I neglected to take any. I need to resolve this before putting the care on the road.
