I'm looking to install Bike Fenders on my Coupe (No. 135). My wife is tired of getting a face full of gravel whenever I make a right hand turn. My wheel back spacing is -
1" more on the rear and 7/16" on the front from that recommed by FFR. If I'm thinking correctly it shouldn't matter that much on the rear if I have no concern in terms of the relationship of where to tire sets vs. fender overhang - is that correct?? The front I'm more concerned with the tire to fender clearance. Does anyone know the width of the front fender and does the tire actually set up inside it?? My tire diameter (24" front and 25" rear) is OK based on FFR specs.

I goofed up earlier and posted a similar thread using my name as the title - I'm a newbee and have a lot to learn. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks

I think Lang is looking at having some more made up and he does make the best. I'll find out more this weekend, when I'm at his shop.

Chuck,
Just for reference, I have 19x11 with 6" backspace rear rims with 305/30-19 Toyo R888's and 18x9.5 with 6" backspace front rims with 255/35-18 Toyo R888's. I mounted the front fenders with the mounting bracket on the inside of the fender, I thought it provided for a cleaner look.

The front fenders have about 11" of inside clearance, and the fit is nice with the rim/tire combo used. The rear tires are about 27" tall, and I'm using the QA1 shock/spring setup Dan Ruth sells, just enough adjustment to give me about 1.5" clearance from the top of the tire to the inside of the fender with the spring adjustment all the way "up" on the shocks.

Attaching a couple of photo's.....Don

Thanks Don, That's big help. Looks like the car advertized for the fenders?? Thanks again - just have to decide what to do.
