I have seen several builds which routed the front brake line "up" along the 3/4 tube and then into the engine compartment. As you can see, I have "mocked" it up with the Tilton reservoir in place. I plan on added a rubber sleeve along the line in certain areas for protection/padding as well as the exit thru the panel. Does this look ok? What about my routing under the nuts (for the Tilton reservoir mount)? My reservoirs are higher than the master cylinders - is there any concern with the front brake line being higher than the master cylinder? Your thoughts, input, expertise is appreciated!

Hi Willie,
I see no one else has responded. I think your routing can work, but it probably will be more difficult to bleed :(

I agree. Think about an air bubble in the line. It will rise to the highest point of the line and sit there. At the beginning of the bleeding process the bubble will be huge. It may be large enough that the volume of fluid that one push of the pedal moves, can't displace the air. I could see a situation where no amount of manual pushing the pedal will get rid of the air and only power bleeding will do it. I'd rotate those 90deg fittings so the line is pointing down.

Thanks for the input. Just to clarify - rotate the 90 degree fittings (at the rear of the master cylinders) 180 degrees so that they are facing "down" and then re-do the lines from there?
