Folks,

Not quite sure what I have done here, but my turn signals and flashers work with the rear led FFR rectangle lights as expected. The brakes also come on when the brake is depressed. I am using the FFR rear trailer connector. The rear parking lights come on when the lights are activated and when the brake lights are depressed the lights get brighter. What is strange is when I have brakes on and use the turn signal, the turn signal on that side blinks but the brake light is override on that side? This does not seem right. Should not the turn signal be split here?

Thanks in advance.

what do you mean by override?

Mike,
The override is where the turn signal blinks that light, but no bottom half brake displayed.

That’s normal and the logic that the trailer connector provides. When turn and brake lights are in the same lamp turn signal always overrides brakes. If your daily driver doesn’t have separate lamps it is the same.

OK thanks. I had not noticed that phenomenon yet as I had tested each function individually.
