I have a question and looking for experience/advice on the attachment of the 5/8" rubber block at the front of the chassis rails just before the down angle to the over riders. The block is 3/4" wide x 3" long x 5/8" thick and I was thinking to countersink two pan head screws through the block and into the chassis, curious what others have done to make this attachment? A little background here, I'm not using the body attachment point of the rams horn circular bracket to the signal light screws, the block supports the nose of the car, at least that's how I understood some builders have gone as opposed to relying on 4 self tapping screws. The 3/4" SS Over rider tubes support the nose as well..

I've found adding the 5/8" blocks increases the gap between the body and the upper chassis rails, should this be supported with additional block or is thicker expanded foam all that's necessary?
Thanks in advance for your input..

That’s exactly how I attach the blocks. You can use thicker foam along the rails to fill the gap if you wish but it’s not required…builder’s choice.

It seemed like the right way to go, thanks for the confirmation Jeff! All the best to you and the family in the New Year.
