Good afternoon everyone. I just purchased a set of rear wilwood brakes for my solid rear axel mk4 and have a question. On page 21 of the e-brake manual, there is mention of spacers used only on wilwood brakes that should be supplied with the brakes. I did not receive the spacers. I contacted F5 and was told to contact wilwood. I called wilwood and was told that it is a part that should have been provided by factory five. Anyone have any ideas on if it's a part that is no longer needed? I know that F5 manual isn't the best and didn't know if they just haven't gotten around to removing it from the instructions. If it is needed, would someone please give me the dimensions of the spacers and I'll just fabricate them myself. Thanks in advance for all the help.

I found myself in the same situation, and fabricated what I needed using the crosspiece to a U-Bolt. I drilled a hole to accept the 1/4” bolt that goes through the rod end. I drilled the hole a bit off-center, so that as the brake cables stretch I can flip the spacer around if needed to take up slack.
