Installed the rear brakes on my MK4. They are the 13" rear brake option for IRS build. There is interference between the shock and the E-brake spring. This only on the right side. Below are two pics, one from behind and one from above. The 3rd pic is the left side equip. with no interference. Can anyone see what the problem is?

Thanks
Dave

If I had to guess your left and right side alignments for the IRS are not equal. I had coilovers on both sides interfere with the tires until I adjusted the alignment out a bit.

Your passenger upper control arm link doesn't appear to be extended as far out as the driver's side...looks to be less threads exposed on passenger side vs driver's side. To JJK's point, this could be the culprit.

Thanks guys, Went out and adjusted the right side. Looks much better now. Do you know the correct setting? I am assuming the wheels/hubs should be at a right angle (90 degrees) to the frame. ????

There are initial alignment specs in the build manual, in the IRS section. In Rev 5G of the manual, check pages 91-93.

Vertical in front or rear view is close enough for now.
