From the manual I can not tell the angle of the steering arm. It looks to me like the arm angles out, which is the way I have installed it. The second pic is the way I have installed the steering arm in the horizontal view (arm down)Pics below are of the Steering arm. The first is a pic from above. The arm angles out . The second pic is from the side. arm angles down.

Not sure if I have the steering arms positioned correctly. Is out and down, as I currently have the arms positioned the correct way? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Dave

I believe they are out and up (not down as you have them). And, make sure you have the tapered end correct, they are not identical parts.

They should point out and the tapered hole should be small side up big side down. The rack mounts from under the spindle arms. Your pics show them mounted wrong.
How new is your kit? I have never seen them with a jog in them vertically like that.

Thanks JJK and Mike, My kit was completed 11/11/23. I have reversed the steering arms. They are now out and up so that the holes on the ends are small end on top and the larger opening is on the bottom. Thanks again.

Hey Dave,
A lot of guys have problems with the blue grease boots on the upper ball joints. Before you get much farther along it may not be a bad idea to swap them.
See kirby's post here for details:

Yeah, I found out I had them reversed when the steering rack didn't fit the taper orientation.....
