I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have the Factory Five vintage gauges and I'm trying to calibrate my fuel gauge. I had the process printed out and made a mental note that I need to calibrate the gauge when it indicates 3/4, but that's apparently not correct.
I have half a tank of gas and I really don't want to pull the fuel sender out to measure it, cheating is easier. Anybody willing to help me cheat with the resistance readings of the sender that comes with the kit?
This is the complete kit with Ron Francis harness and vintage gauges (can't remember the manufacturer)
For a Ford sending unit, you want 7/8 on the gauge for calibation.

I struggled with mine, pulled and tested the sending unit, only to find either Ron Francis or Speed hut had pinned the connector wrong( three pin connector from one used the middle pin and one did not). My rear harness was pinned wrong as well (purple and black were switched), so I'm guessing it was Ron Francis. Either way, check the connections.

Thanks, I am getting ready to replace my vinyl dash with the carbon fiber dash, and I'm going to check a few things, this one is included. I'm almost certain mine is good though, because I put in 5 gallons of gas and the gauge read just below a 1/4 tank. I was surprised and thought I got lucky. Then I put in another 5 gallons, now my tank reads empty.
I'll try to calibrate it at 7/8, if that doesn't work I'll pull the sender and measure it.
Thanks everyone

If you used 3/4 when you set the gauge up, it is reading 90-0 Ohms (empty to full). The Ford sender operates from 16-158 Ohms, opposite of the values you're set at, so the gauge will work opposite.
