Does anyone know if the vinyl dash with glovebox that FFR sells can be modified to fit a MKll? FFR webpage says it only fits MKlll and lV. https://www.factoryfiveparts.com/16986-roadster-vinyl-dash-with-glovebox/

Nope. Steering shaft hole is in the wrong location for a Mk2.

Looks to me that the carbon fiber dash is gonna be on the 12 days of Christmas special soon. If the savings are as good as they have been for the other specials I'm thinking about one for my MK2.

Agreed. I just dread the thought of cutting holes in that thing.

It is actually quite a bit easier than you might think. Lot's of folks use hole saws, but I didn't have the right sizes and didn't want to go buy new ones, so I used a Dremel cutoff wheel to make a bunch of small cuts, then used a Dremel sanding drum to clean up the cuts. It was way easier than I thought it would be, and it turned out great. Here's my post describing the process (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?40632-ATX-MKIV-9644-Coyote-Build-Thread-(Index-Post-136)&p=507271&viewfull=1#post507271).
