I've got a shock that's leaking. I'll have to have that one replaced. I've also got two where the top eyelet ball is crooked and the shock is not parallel when installed. Those eyelet fittings can't be adjusted flush by hand. Is it OK to use a c-clamp to push flush or is it better to have them replaced? I'm not sure they are designed to move and maybe were just made that way?

Its a ball socket so it can pivot. They tend to be pretty tight. Stick a bolt in the hole and try to move it. It should move.

Thanks Mike. These were super sticky and the bolt in the hole didn't work. I used a C-clamp and did the trick. I just wanted to be sure that they were designed to move. I see that the rubber and fitting is held in by c clips. I'm assuming that means they can be rebuilt?

I thought I had a water pump failure and as I pulled both front tires I noted a puddle of blue-ish oil under the drivers side front....drip drip from shock.

Yeah, glad I noticed it as the box was wet on a couple of sides. FFR is sending me a replacement as we speak.
