I've got a Mrk III and am looking for a soft top. Does FFR still sell one? And especially, does anyone know how much?
Yes. FFR has one on their parts page, but it is manufactured and fulfilled by Rod Tops in Michigan. These tops are extremely well made. (I have one) If you want a soft top, this is the one to get. (that is my editorial opinion...) Plan on 3400 +/- depending on their current pricing. Well worth it.

I sent two emails to Rod Tops, and haven't heard back. I called Factory Five just before Thanksgiving, and was told that their supplier was retiring, and they did not currently have a soft top to sell for the Roadster.
Would love to hear something different, or another option.
The tops have been challenging to get for a while now. I think I was fortunate to get one of the last ones. That was about a year ago. Whitby still makes one. I think there are pro's and con's to theres. Whitbys looks more authentic and are a lot cheaper but not sure the quality is as good? FFR top is very high quality but expensive when you could get it. I would have done the Whitby one if it was the only choice. I use my top a lot. Extends the driving season 2-3 months and is nice to have on when taking long trips in my opinion. Good luck.

There are probably a few people that have the FFR (Rod Tops) top that don't need/want them. Try the Want To Buy section, you may get a bite.

I'd be a little concerned about the top fitting a MkIII. The MkIV body is slightly lower in the trunk area so the top might be loose on a MkIII. This is my APE top that fit fine on my MkII until I did the dropped butt mod. See the gap top to body?

I don't 'know' there will be a problem but could be.

I have the Rod Top, always found it better to call them. While its a bit pricey, its very well made.
