Just checking to see what others have used for these torque values (upper/lower/toe to knuckle). I didn't note in my last build thread and for some reason the manual doesn't list torque values in the knuckle section of installation. M16 is listed as 120 ft/lbs, but seems excessive with the FFR recommending 100 ft/lbs for the IRS mounting bolts.

Rev 5 G of the build manual has the following IRS torque value table

Thanks Bud. I didn't see that in mine. What page is that on?

The center section to frame TQ specs are suspect to me. Pretty sure the rear bolts are 14mm threading into aluminum while the fronts are 16mm threading into a steel nut.

I was thinking the same thing Craig, especially the 14MM going into the aluminum. I kept it at 100 ft/lbs but checked with FFR to see what they say.

That table is on page 117 with the rear alignment specs. Its after the IRS shock install and Wilwood brake pages so not obvious.

I see it now. Thanks for that!

As a follow up, Dan from FFR tech came back and stated that the 100 ft/lbs for the IRS Center section mounting, front and back was correct.

I sure wish they would get this straightened out. Way too many threads about FFR TQ specs for me. I have been working on cars all my life, 30 years or so being paid for it. So stuff sticks out to me that someone w/o that experience may not notice. 129# for a 14mm going into aluminum is crazy.

I agree. I'm not sure why this is so hard. The manual was just updated.

Until consumers demand greater accountability, why would they care?
