This could have been better. With all the trouble we had early on with the wiper motor, I thought we had this all fixed.

Apparently not.

I am having the same problem with my stupid wipers. I have a Period Correct rotary switch on my dash which uses a relay. Sometimes it parks the wipers and sometimes it doesn't. I am very much looking forward to seeing how you fix this. Love your videos!

Anyone go with electric wipers?

Are these the FFR wipers? If so, the wheelboxes appear to be on backwards (out 180 degrees). The tubing should be away from the firewall, instead of near it. Setup like you have it will cause the wipers to "park" in an upward position instead of down, near the body.

I kind of go through it at the end of the video. We had trouble with the motor from the beginning not parking. There is a cam inside the gear housing and a plunger switch that engages the self park. That little white electrical connector on the outside of the motor is where the plunger switch goes into the housing. The contacts inside there were misaligned from the get go. I must have over corrected and the wipers kept running instead of parking. Took it all apart and it's working now.

The wipers are electric

I had those things on and off so many times during installation. And the shot you see of them that way was during the prefitting while I was running the tubing. They had been turn to the bottom before the first test with the wiper arms/blades not attached. You should have seen that in the video. Watch the video and they park perfectly. For the record though, the wheel boxes can be mounted either direction (and says so in the F5R instructions) and the gear in the motor can be changed to park in either position as well.
