Hello everyone.

I found out about FFR about nine years ago. I did a lot of study about replica kits and quickly decided that FFR was the way to go. My work involved constantly relocating at the time and then I moved overseas for the second time to New Zealand. I thought maybe one day......

Well, I am back in the US and have finally settled down in a Florida beach town. My wife, totally out of the blue, no car talk for a long time, said "Here is what I want you to do for Christmas.....order your kit from Factory Five." Well, the check is in the mail, literally. My frame will probably be in the jig any day now. and I should have it in my garage at the end of the month.

Thanks to all of the Factory Five team and the on line community for keeping my dream alive.

I am in Jacksonville Beach.

Here is what I have ordered.

Base kit.
3 link
Dual chrome rollbars
17" FFR Halibrand wheels with 10.5" wide rears
4 into 4 ceramic headers
stainless side pipes
hood hinge
powder-coated chassis - last minute change
classic seats
FFR classic gauges
nudge bars and overriders

I plan on going carb, Holly double pumper. I may run the stock bottom end for now and then stroke to 331 or 347 later on. I will probably go AFR or Trick-Flow heads and a fairly lumpy cam.

I also plan on power steering and brakes utilizing a hyrdoboost.

I will need to get shorter axles for the 10.5" wide tires. I am thinking 3.55 gears.

I am looking for a SN95 donor for the better spindles and 5 lugs. So far they all seem to be 200+ miles away.
