After a couple of years doing the research (wasn’t interested in dealing with supply chain issues during COVID), I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a complete kit. It is on the Stewart truck headed to Texas and I hope to see it Tuesday. Bucket list item has been to rebuild an old muscle car, but decided to build a Cobra instead.

Complete kit with IRS
Power steering
Vintage gauges
17” Halibrands
Heater
header and sidepipe delete (will use Gas-n Pipes)
347 from Mike Forte with Holley Sniper 2 and TKX
Forte’s hydraulic slave cylinder
Heated seats
Forte’s throttle linkage

Really looking forward to tackling this project and learning from others on the Forum

In fact, Kmcallahan has leant me his body buck

Yesterday was the big day. Eric showed up exactly when he said he would and is one of the nicest guys. Going to take my time on this build to make sure I get everything right the first time. Already found some missing items and hope to get finished with checking inventory before the weekend so I can begin the build. I expect to receive the engine next week from Mike Forte.
