Mounting location for charcoal canister

Is this location ok for mounting , does it matter which direction the vent holes are facing?192457

I mounted mine on the PS, next to the fill tube. Either side works

Should be OK. I gotta say though, that's one unusual CC. point the nozzle towards the vent on the tank.

not clear on what you mean about pointing towards tank, the brass fitting on the bottom with the hose connected to it points to the tank it was a 90 elbow on it.

That’s going to interfere with the splash panel…go forward a couple of inches.
