Mark 4 with a Blueprint Engines 306 and a Tremec TKX. 875 miles since tagging it in June. I’ve recently noticed that if I’m sitting for a minute or so, running in gear with clutch down, clutch will begin to engage. Feels like it’s losing hydraulic pressure. I’ve checked the reservoir which is full. I’ve checked the clutch master for leaks and it’s good; the line is good; and, so far, I haven’t seen any leak under the bell housing. Not looking forward to pulling the trans if I’m missing something stupid. Doesn’t feel like there is air in it and gears all work fine otherwise. Reservoir is remote. Clutch was pressure bled. Thinking I might bleed it adain this weekend if I can’t find a leak. If it’s the throw out it’ll wait until I pull the body for paint. Thoughts? Thanks.

Sounds like a leak. That sucks . Your diagnostic logic seems good.
It is either leaking or has air in it. I would re-bleed it just to make sure you have no air in the line. My Wilwood clutch MC failed after about 2000 miles, I had fluid on my clutch pedal leaking from the MC, my clutch started to not engage and was getting difficult to shift gears. If you have no leaks from the slave I would definitely look at the MC.

I agree with Fman. Bear in mind you could have an internal leak in with the throwout bearing or the master cylinder, fluid bleeding past the seals. If you don't find air in the system I'd be looking at the MC. Wilwood master cylinders haven't been the most reliable, that's the reason I went with Tilton.

I had a similar issue with my brakes and realized that my balance bar was coming loose due to my Tilton 90* balance bar adjuster. Check your MC piston (and slave) and make sure it hasn't backed out somehow.

Put the car up in the air and make sure it isnt dragging with the pedal fully depressed. A slight drag will heat up the disc and begin to stick, just like dragging brakes
