Air cleaner for Holley Sniper selection

Hello All,

I am looking at air cleaners , I am wanting to find one that will not be a problem for clearance issues. Trying to do this before first start and I know many have already been through this. I am wanting an air cleaner that will give me best air flow and still meet clearance for the hood/scoop opening. I have a 427 with Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake and Holley Sniper. I really like the K&N X-treme but don't know if it will fit?

Something like these might work. Should flow well with a 14" x 3" element.

You have to be careful what dropped air cleaner base you use with the Sniper. This is one specifically designed for it....

Use the Holley drop base with the proper fuel line drop fitting.192075 This is the setup I did and added a pressure gauge.
