I'm using EZ-EFI 2.0 system along with their throttle body and a FAST dual sync distributor. The first start was fine, the engine sounds amazing and runs well. My problem is going thru the setup wizard. The first part of this is with the engine not running, and I get to the point where it tells me to start the engine and allow the engine to reach operating temperature. As soon as I push the start button the display goes blank, the engine starts and then the display comes back on, of course starting over at the home screen.

I haven't checked anything yet, but my initial thought is I'm losing 12 volt switched power???

I should also say that I'm using the digital guard dog push button ignition.

Any other EZ-EFI users run across this issue?

I think you are right. All switched power is shut off in start position on the key switch. Some how you will need a source from the battery to work around this. If you are using a master disconnect switch you can power the EZ system from a hot at all times feed.
No experience with the product. Others might have a better solution.

Assuming you've got the RF harness, use the orange EFI-OR-COIL wire to power your EZ-EFI. It's hot during start.

I'm pretty surprised the engine starts. My Holley Terminator EFI shuts everything down when it loses power.

My DGD system is so old that a description of how I wired it would be no use.

Yep, did what John said also. I ran mine through a rocker switch under the dash as a hidden NO START security element.
