Help with Forte's Mechanical Throttle Linkage

I need to drill a larger hole into the throttle linkage on the Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 efi to attach one on the bars and I cannot get an electric drill to make a dent into hole. Any suggestions?

I remember having to do that and also having trouble with the hardened steel. Just take it slow, use small increments in the size, and use cutting oil on the bit. New bits help too. I don't think you need to increase the hole size much. You could also think about using a tap instead/also. THread the PF4 lever for the linkage threads instead of drilling it out

You are spot on with the tap. That worked like a champ and I put the nut on the other side.

I drilled mine with a stepper bit, take your time.
