We have a few things left inside the car, but not many.

So are you selling the shift handle? I am interested. Can you post any details? Thanks!!

Apologies in advance for the slight tangent, but every time I see a handle on the dash of these cars an impact warning siren goes off in my head for the passenger’s head/knees in a hard stop/collision.
Is the consensus that a properly belted in passenger will not be able to move forward enough to bump their head or knees?
I like the idea of the grab handle, just can’t get past my initial safety reaction (I’m probably just overthinking it).
Love your work and YouTube channel i.e.427, it’s a great resource.

I somewhat understand your thinking, but in a collision, I really don't think that grab bar is the first concern. As we all know, these cars don't provide much/any protection in the event of a bad accident. I think a passenger is more likely to hit the dash fiberglass or windshield. Shoot, that grab bar may provide some additional protection? The key is strapping yourself in. I have friends that only where their lap belts and I constantly try to encourage them to fully strap in. I don't care if it's a short trip to the gas station. When properly belted in, we stand a pretty good chance. When not belted or partially belted, the outcome won't be good. That's my PSA for the day.

This shifter is our Gen 2 shifter. Gen 1 was 5/8" steel, bent forward and towards the driver then welded to the mounting bracket at the bottom. It bolted directly to a T5 shift stem. Gen 1 had a chrome finish. We gave one to buddy Antny for testing. And true to form, Ant broke one at the weld, pulling the front wheels into second at Barona Drag Strip. We decided it was time to redesign Gen 2 to be one piece. This time we went with 5/8" stainless steel with a brushed finish. Same position for the driver and this time around we made it accept the newer style F5R shift knob. The advantage is it doesn't put the shift boot in a bind like the Factory Five supplied shifter and it's already machined to fit a TKO or TKX.
Here's a short clip of Antny in an 1/8 mile pull at Barona. Not the one he broke the shifter on.
