Replacement wheel studs

Alright, I got replacement studs for the rear hubs since I cross threaded one of the ones that came with the kit. These seemed to match the measurements. They're SAE 1/2 in x 20. And I have to say went in much easier than the kit ones, probably because the knurl isn't as long. Doesn't seem to want to come out, and they work just fine with the provided lugs. But I wanted to check with the folks here to see if someone knows why I shouldn't use them. They're Dorman 610-441 1/2-20 Serrated Wheel Stud - .623 In. Knurl, 2-3/16 In. Length Compatible with Select Ford Models.

edit: the lower one is what came with the kit, the upper one is the Dorman stud.

I would prefer the longer knurl but the short should work as long as it seats all the way properly.

thanks, yeah, I ended using the provided ones for all but two, I'll let you all know if my rear tire flies off:)
