View Full Version : Old 8.8 IRS Control Arm Thread Size

Does anyone recall the thread size of the old 8.8 control arm bolts where the heim joint thru-bolt mounts to the chassis? I think it's 3/4-16 but want to confirm. It may be consistent with the new 8.8 IRS and even other axle options; I'm just not sure.
Edit: My car is at the body shop, otherwise I'd measure it myself.

Man I thought that was going to be easy to find, but I had to dig up an old post where I linked an inventory on the old forum:
12384 BOLT, 5/8"-11 x 2 5", (LOWER ARM TO CAGE) EA 4.00 a x
15216 LOCKNUT, 5/8"-11, (LOWER ARM TO CAGE) EA 4.00 a x
12382 BOLT, 5/8"-11 x 3", (UPPER ARM TO CAGE) EA 2.00 a x

Where the heim joints thread into the control arms ARE 3/4"-16...
