Hi. Because of my situation I am doing a body buck on stilts. I need two measurements, please.

What is the overall height of the fiberglass body only (no roll bar, no windshield, etc.)? From lowest point (oil scoop?) to highest point.

Secondly, how far does the fiberglass body rise above the top of the front body buck piece when resting on it? Want to make sure I don't build the buck too high (the buck clears but with the body on it doesn't fit through the garage door. :)

Thank you!

total height from bottom of oil cooler to the top the body is 28 inches. Highest point above front board is 4 inches.

I just did a rough measurement of mine on the buck. I got around 27" of total height of the body, and about 4-5" of rise above the buck, with pool noodles resting on the buck-to-body contact points.

Make sure you make the buck wide enough to be able to fit the chassis under it with the wheels and tires on. I made that mistake and was able to force the legs apart
with a 2x4. I can't give you a measurement because my roadster is away for paint and the buck is long since dismantled.

also make sure the side supports don't press the sides of the body out, the body tapers in in the mid section and those side supports shouldn't be right on the edges of the buck

Thank you, I will keep those two things in mind. I was able to find the width dimensions that will clear from an older post, so I think I'm good there.
