Well, it lasted 10,000 miles and now its leaking where the core is attaches to the tank. Not a very good service life for a radiator. I'm sure other people have had them leak. Question is do radiator shops repair these aluminum radiators. Of course, FFR doesn't have any. Next question is there a replacement that someone else makes I can find on the internet?

Pretty sure FFR has them. Did you try calling?
Mike
I couldn't find a shop to repair mine when it leaked and fortunately, FFR had just received a shipment of them and I was able to buy a replacement. I can't help with your questions on alternatives as I never had to research it in my case.
If you are looking for a temp fix to get you by for a while, J.B. Weld sells an epoxy for radiators that might stop the leak.

Michimoto makes a radiator and compatible fan that works perfect. Life time warranty as well.

I checked FFR parts websites and it said out of stock. I’ll call on Monday and see if they have any.

I recently changed out my radiator and went directly to AFCO RACING to get it because Factory Five Racing did not have them in stock.
Since I'm Dark Side Powered, I used the radiator listed below and simply had the inlet angle changed to make it perfectly fit my MK-4 Roadster.

Be advised that my original radiator came from AFCO and they said they had the specifications for the Factory-5 radiators but it was a proprietary item.
Personally I wish Dave Smith would allow AFCO to sell the original style radiators to Factory-5 owners if they aren't able to keep them in stock.
Good Luck!

I called FFR yesterday and they said they were out of stock, but some were due in "soon". I backordered one so when it does come in, I'll have a spare and swung by the radiator shop, our shop uses this morning, and he said no problem to repair. So, by the end of the week I should be back in business.

Not a direct replacement as the in/out hose diameters are a bit different (I can't remember 1.5" or 1.75") but physically it fits my Coupe and I can get a spare delivered in a couple of days. I bring one along on long trips away from home.

I've used a couple of these but you have to change the lower hose diameter.
