I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I'm planning to black out all the trim on my Roadster. So I'm working on gathering all the parts to go to powder coating for a blacked out car. Here is the list I have. Anyone see anything I'm missing? I already have a quote on the wheels and told the shop I'd get them a list of other pieces. So I spent a few hours taking apart everything to see how many piece each thing was made out of.

*Finish is current finish it's all going to be satin black

I am not going to have:
Sun visors
Wipers

I purchased already in Black:
Side View Mirrors
Windshield post trim plates
Roll Bar Trim Rings
Dash steering hole trim ring
REAR QUICK JACK PLATES
Seat Belt Trim Plates
Aluminum Cup Holders
Grab Handle for the Tunnel

Did I miss anything?

I think once the carpet is in I might get the door sill trim pieces powder coated as well.

You may want to consider elephant ears because they can be seen from side views of the car.

Looks like you got everything. Where did you get the seat belt trim plates already in black? Also, regarding your rear tail light bezels. Unless you plan on soldering back your wired connections, you might want to consider lightly sanding and spray painting those with an epoxy. The wires will melt apart while being powder coated.

stick shift
roll bars
side pipes and mounting brackets
wheels, spinners, and center hubs
ignition bezel
light switch
steering wheel, center section, and hub (properly do these yourself in 2k Eastwood rat rod since cannot bake the leather)

65 Cobra Dude - Thanks for the suggestion I think I'm going to bed liner/undercoat those and possibly run a plastic wheel well liner.

cv2065 - I have the square LED tail lights and the metal bezel popped off on it's own so it should be ok, except the tabs are super brittle so they might need some 3M trim tape to go back together. The license plate bracket also has a couple wires soldered to it. I think I can just cut those tape that area off and then solder new wires.

For the already black bezels I emailed http://www.replicaparts.com/ and asked if they could do black rather than clear and he said no problem. The mirrors are from Breeze and anondized.

JJK - love it. I purchased a smaller steering wheel that is already black. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/vat-st3027 with this center https://www.summitracing.com/parts/vat-ste1054blk it looks pretty cool

The stick shift and wheels (Spinners and Centers I consider part of the wheels) are in my list
The ignition, light, heater temp, heat fan speed, I actually went another way because I'm using Mustang and Bronco parts so those will be the only non-blacked out bits
Side pipes I am going to get from Gas-n and come black ceramic coated. BUT I did buy pipe heat shields and will need to get them ceramic coated also I'll have to look at the side pipe brackets so great catch there!
Another good catch on the Radiator I do have an aluminum one so I will have to spray it.

Thanks everyone for the comments!

I like that steering wheel (chrome), does it bolt up to the FFR hub? My wife doesn't really like the FFR wood wheel.

I powder coated mine. They pop off, I used a plastic pic.

Good timing - I'm doing the same on mine and I've got a good spreadsheet going of each part #, description, quantity and how I plan to handle it (powdercoat or spray). Happy to share the work-in-progress list with you if you send me a PM.

Also - I had the same issue with the tail light bezels (the tabs are brittle and I broke one off disassembling) and the license plate holder. Once I saw the soldered wires, I put it aside and decided I'll just rough it up with some sandpaper and spray instead with the radiator spray paint or something else (TBD).

Mike.Bray - The after market steering wheel pictured does have a different bolt pattern. The pattern used by FFR is not common. There are I think three options.
1.) I think the steering boss has enough meat on it to drill a second set of holes
2.) I have seen other posts where folks have had machine shops make them a new boss and drill in a more common pattern
3.) I am having a machine shop modify my boss to accept a NRG quick release hub. Then if I get into auto cross or something I can get a second wheel for that application, or lock my wheel a way for anti theft, etc.
