So i'm going with cable clutch and I bought a Ford OEM clutch cable from Mike Forte after initially trying the FFR provided one. I have a firewall adjuster (blue in background of pic) and I'm curious if I need to disassemble part of the Ford firewall piece since I need to have the firewall adjuster. I put numbers on the picture for the different parts of the cable firewall head. Any advice and tips would be appreciated.

Yes, you need to remove the rubber part and the metal ring around it. #2 and #3 in the pic you labeled. It will work perfect then! I had to cut the rubber piece off, as I could not slip it off....

1 & 4 are the same piece. Remove 2 & 3. You may have to trim the “nubs” from the #4 end for it to fin inside the bore of the adjuster.
