I need to sell my Daytona. It’s been a good project for 16 years but I’m just past the point of enjoying it, I’m not even interested in driving it. It’s still not complete, needs some of the aluminum fitted & riveted in place, detail stuff mostly. The big thing is that I’m in NY and, if I follow the intent of the paperwork from Albany, it simply CANNOT be legal without what I consider major expenditures. Plenty of them have been registered but, if NY decided to compare the paperwork to the vehicle, I can’t imagine them being legal. I mean NY wants pictures of the bumpers and wants the serial and/or SAE/DOT numbers from all of the windows and lenses on the car. Yes, could try working through registering it in Vermont or Montana but I’m just not interested anymore, I want the space more than the car.
Anyway, what is a realistic reduction in selling price for it not being registered?
