New to the build world and am super stoked to get started on my '33 hot rod. Been ordered and hopefully by Christmas....
anyway, my question is, are the ford 8.8, 4-link differential lugs the same for the '33 hot rod 4-link suspension?

I believe all the FFR chassis' that are set up for the 4 link use the same Fox type axle housing.

There are brackets that bolt to the stock axle brackets for the lower suspension links and the coil overs. The stock bosses cast into the center section are used for the upper suspension links.

My 1994 Mustang 8.8 bolts right in there. The axles needed to be switched from 4 lug to 5 lug axles, and the drum brakes should be switched to disc brakes with an adapter kit. All quite simple.

I take a ton of photos during my builds. I am well over 500 phots of my '33 already. My last project was a body-off frame restoration of a Jeep CJ7 and I had close to 1,000 photos, which was very helpful during reassembly. It also has answered a lot of questions from other CJ7 restorers at another site I still enjoy following. When I finished the Jeep, I took 50-60 of my favorite photos and had Walgreens make a photo book showing it from the start to finish. I plan to do the same with my 33. Here are a few photos of that Jeep.

i love the photo album idea....i will take plenty of pics for sure...just can't wait to get started hopefully by Christmas. In the mean time, I'm doing plenty of research and preparing my garage...while you're at it helping me out, i have conflicting reads on the rear end. Is it from the Mustang fox body 1986-1993 or through 1996?
i did read it supposed to be 59.25" wide.

There's an appendix in the manual that describes mustang years and axle widths.

Of course if you have no fenders you have more flexibility on which widths will work.. or you play with wheel offsets.

I deliberately went for the widest rear.
