Gen 3 Coyote Starter wiring

So I’ve got most of my wiring done and realized I hadn’t connected the coyote harness to the starter. Going through the manual i couldn’t find which post I should connect it to. Two arrows in the pic for two different posts. My battery connects to the closest post, with the heavy gauge red wire visible. I assume this is also correct. The entire starter is grounded with a heavy gauge wire through one of the bolts holding the starter to the engine. In searching the forum I found others mention the small post which I assume is the blue arrow? Likewise the coyote starter lead wire ring is too small to fit over either of the brass colored posts. I appreciate any help.

The black lead should go on the post with the blue arrow, like this:
