Cardone steering rack help

[first time builder]

I tried the search feature with no real results, the information was old. I am trying to find out the current BEST Cardone steering rack(power). I found comments about 22-207 and 22-203. I believe both of theses need the rack extenders. I did some research and came up with 22-299 . I was trying to see if that is the best one to use. I also see a rack offered by Detroit AXle but not finding any info about it.

I can't help much w/ the part numbers but be sure the rack you get is 3.0 turns lock to lock. There are some 2.5 turn racks out there and I tried one. Loved it in an autocross slalom but after a summer of driving it, assuming I would eventually get acclimated to it on the street, I took it out.

I've been using the 2.5 rack for 25yrs and love it, on/off the track. Also has p/s, so I think it's a personal preference what you want. You can purchase a brand new rack from LMR with 15:1 (2.5) ratio. The 22-207 is a quick ratio rack.

I cant even imagine choosing to use a slower rack, if anything IMO this car would benefit from a rack that is quicker than 15:1.
