I'm sitting her pondering all this, and it appears the lower trunk has to go in before the Kleiner mod. But, the drop trunk needs to go in before the gas tank. I'd like to install the tank without the lower trunk floor in place, but I don't think I can, due to the other bits.
So, I guess if I want to get the tank installed this weekend, I need to:
1) Install the lower trunk floor with the drop trunk mod,
2) Then install the Kleiner Mod bits,
3) THEN install the tank.
Sanity check me here, my dudes...
Thanks,

You can install the fuel tank with out the lower trunk floor, or the drop trunk. You will have to drop the fuel tank in the future to add them in, but that's not too difficult as long as you add a bit of length to your flexible fuel lines. Also, before you add the lower trunk/drop trunk, consider securing all your rear electrical lines. Once your lower trunk is in place it can be challenging to get your electrical routed, thought not impossible. Likewise, determine where you're going to wire in the trailer brake adapter. It can be done behind the dash or in the trunk area before the Right/Left tail lights split. I did it behind the dash as that seems to be a bit more protected from weather/wetness. Lastly, i can get in 2 of the 4 Kleiner mod bolts without moving the fuel tank. The others are going in when i drop my tank for the final time to install the lower trunk and drop trunk.
Regardless, the order you show above is the right sequence anyway!

Thanks,
Yes but before all that get your rear harness roughed in (it goes under the floor and above the tank).

I do it different than y'all.
1-Drop trunk first, then lay trunk floor over the top,
2-Position trunk bottom aluminum in place.
3-Reach in through handy hole F5R provides to mark out the cut with a Shapie.
4-Cut out trunk floor and install
Dozens of cars and never once used rod couplings to install bumpers or quick jack. So you're on your
own for that one.
5-Rear harness is routed around the front and down the sides of the drop trunk, not in-between the drop trunk and tank.
6-Fuel tank can go in before or after.
Now keep in mind that this is for our drop trunk boxes and ours mounts directly to the rear 3/4" tube and the driver's 3/4" tube.

Trailer brake adapter? What's that?
It's detailed in the manual but is the provided 5 to 4 wire converter that provides the logic for turn signal override of the brake lights on rectangular rear LED lamps. Some break into the harness and install it up front behind the dash and others do it at the rear.

Gotcha, thanks. Haven't read that far yet, apparently.
