Has anyone "started over" and ordered new replacement firewall panels? Mine have been "wrongfully" drilled in several places and not cut very good at the frame holes. Other than making patch pieces to fill the gaps and holes, i'm thinking about ordering new panels and starting over.

You could skin over them like I did on my build with thinner aluminum. I just did it to add some character to my firewall. 190909

Many years ago I bought a replacement for a footbox panel. It was not a big deal. Hopefully you can still order individual panels.

You could always buy some aluminum sheet and cut your own using the existing panels as templates.
