How do Y'all keep the gas from foaming out of filler when adding fuel; if I try to add gas faster than a trickle it bubbles back out of the filler (vent is clear)

I know you said the vent is clear, but that's about the only way it will overflow is if the vent is not working. Try it without the anti roll over valve installed.

too tight of a radius in the filler neck? fuel could be getting held up at the 90 and coming back out. not sure if you brought it out the side of the tank or if the filler is in the bed.

Mine is the stock setup other than I used a different (locking) cap. It fills OK without any big issues. Can't put the nozzle in very far because of the bend in the filler. So pretty much have to hold in place. But fills reasonably OK. Just filled it up last Saturday. I agree. Check your vent. Assuming the filler is stock.
