Show me your fire extinguishers!

We are planning a long trip through France to Le Mans this summer and I think I should fit a fire extinguisher as a good safety idea.

I have seen them in sizes from a small 600 grams to a huge 2kg one! What size have you used and why? Secondly, where have you fitted it?

About $15 on Ebay. Won't put out any major fires but hopefully will save my car.
