Anybody running the Gas N Pipes Brushed Stainless finish side pipes and if so, how well does the finish hold up and ease of cleaning ?

I have them and love them. I chose them for the brushed look specifically. They came with the welds still showing the rainbow-ish colors from the weld heat. I took some metal polish and it cleaned them right up. I ended up using the polish on the entire surface of the pipes using a buffing wheel and they even look better from when they came stock. So far they have cleaned up with a solvent based cleaner. Like all pipes they do color a little from the exhaust heat from running the car.

Any photos you can share? Have ceramic coating on ffr pipes that has a satin finish. Same with roll bars and brushed aluminum raydot mirrors. trying to stay away from a over shiny look.

Here are some pics. This was a before and after polishing (polished on left - stock on right). The polish I did is not what you get with polished pipes. The polish just brings out the raw metal better and gets rid of any heat marks. Should give you an idea of what they look like. I was going for not too shiny look as well. Love the brushed look. Did my roll bars in a brushed nickel. Look great

That IS a great look

but I have to say that after seeing the Gas-N full polished in-person (delivered just last week), they are stunning!:D

Sorry it's off topic, but where did you get your roll bar trim rings?

I had them laser cut by a friend out of 1/8" stainless. Then brushed them and chamfered the edges. The holes were too big because of the Breeze roll bars and so Mike Everson's rings didn't fit (even though they are made for the Breeze roll bars). I also had some 1/16 rubber that I cut gaskets out of. Made them custom so they provide a closer fit to the bars.

Thanks for the pics! Youve answered my concerns. I agree the Brushed looks best.

Juddster, Can you provide some more detail / pictures on this top(?) (Maybe start a new post so it doesn't hijack this thread)
Thanks

Love my GasN brushed sidepipes. They are a bit harder to keep up but I think they look amazing. Get some Compount 302 to polish.... That is also what George recommends.
