I have confused myself (it doesn't take much) in regards to the orientation of the steering arms. I originally had the arms angled "out" when viewed from the top, but had them so that the arms sloped 'up" when viewed from the side. In one of the threads I read I got the impression that I had them incorrect and changed them to this setup : -- still angled "out" but they now slope "down" as noted in the pics. However, in the current configuration I have noted that the holes are tapered with the widest portion at the top.

The pics are of the front left, as I currently have them configured.

Your help is appreciated!

ps - If I have to adjust the steering arms (take off the brake, rotor, hub), can I re-use the axle nut (or is it best to replace them once torqued and then removed)?

Well you're half right! The steering arm is indeed supposed to angle outward as shown in your photo from above however the tapered hole for the tie rod must have the wide end down, towards the ground.

The hub nut is one time use and should be replaced.
