Bolts/slots on bottom of body

When my car arrived last October there was no screws or bolts holding the body rockers to the frame. I’m about to lower the body on and start trimming and fitting. So where are these supposed to be placed?

I don't think there is any set in stone location. I've read a lot of guys make slots so they can adjust in-out as needed.

just don't do what I did and put the slots directly over the welds in the frame.

Pretty much straight down from the front edge of the door, just aft of the 2x2 tube that runs side to side and a couple inches forward of the rear wheel opening.

As usual Jeff has the good info. I will just ad that I'd make slots in the body and use nice wide fender washers. You will be surprised how much you can move the body at the rocker which will really help w/ door to body fitting.
