This is a question that has probably been asked before but I have searched and can' find a clear answer - probably because the answer is so simple and I just can't see it. The Coyote instructions say to send the power wire from the battery through the megafuse and then to the Coyote fusebox. I am using a setup like many others with a battery cutoff switch with a 4 gauge wire from the cutoff switch (same terminal as the battery feed so HAAT) to the megafuse. From the megafuse to the fusebox input another 4 gauge wire. However, and here is my question, there is already a power wire (probably 8-10 gauge) already on the power input binding post that goes into the coyote harness. Do I simply add my 4 gauge wire from the megafuse with battery power onto this same terminal and leave the smaller red wire there? What am I missing here? The pictures in the instruction manual do not show the smaller red wire attached. Below is a picture of my fusebox with the smaller red wire and where I think I am supposed to add my power supply wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Yes, you can put the main power feed onto the same post that the smaller wire is on.

John,

Thank you very much! I have placed my Coyote fusebox on top of the passenger footwell as mentioned in the instructions. Your setup looks much cleaner and easier to access if there is a problem. However, I am using the FFM forward firewall and with the Aluminator engine, I am concerned about space. Do you see a problem with placing the fusebox according to the instructions? I have seen other places where the instructed location by FFR is inappropriate. Is this one of them or is it just a question of preference?

Thanks again!

Sorry, I don't have any direct experience with either the FFM forward firewall or the aluminator so I can't comment on your question. I'm sure there are others here that can.
