Hello, I am planning out my transmission project and would like to get a little insight from you all. I am building a 351W, 350 HP, Carb. My initial thoughts are to harvest a T-5 from a salvage yard from a 1997 Mustang 4.7, with 3:73 gearing. Has anyone had any success going this route and doing a rebuild on the transmission? I want to ensure that this is cost effectvive vs. purchasing a new T-5. Any help is most appreciated.
