Hello Roadsters, I am in the process gathering all the parts for my MkIV Base Kit Build. This month I am getting all of my braking parts. My last part is the Brake Lines. I would like to go with braded lines. Can anyone suggest any good sites to purchase from?

Thank you, I will check out these sites. Which ones did you use and are you satisfied with them?

I used Forte's lines for my front and rear IRS brakes.
I installed them, but haven't finished my build. No fluid yet, but I like them so far.

Anyone have feedback on Forte's Brake Line Kit? They have a sale price, but I want to get some feedback first.

Russell brand, braided stainless lines should be available through most parts stores. They are reasonable in price, and DOT approved for road use..They have lots of items that I ended up using in addition to their hoses. Speed bleeder bolts were a handy item, as were the various clips etc, I needed to finish my brake system

Also check with Mark at Breeze Automotive. He has a selection of hoses, brackets and specific bango bolts for various calipers.

I am going to clear up the confusion :}

1] the front hoses are all the same with a oem style block for attachment to the caliper - this makes it so the hose stays tight as the steering turns & does not spin itself loose

2] there are 3 setups for the rear:
Original - 3 piece with the center hose for hard line on the axle & calipers on the rear of the axle housing.

Extra crispy - hoses to the rear no middle hose

Grilled - IRS or calipers on the front of housing

This is why some of the hoses say irs on them!
