The manual photos and description for positioning of the rear elephant ears is not entirely clear. I have the body off, and would prefer to drill the panel holes prior to mounting the body, as I'm not sure a drill will have clearance with the body on.
Does anyone have pictures of where to position the panels?

You kind of need the body on to properly place them. Align the vertical edge of the splash panel flange with the vertical tube on the trunk side that's just aft of the rollbar rear leg. There's plenty of room for drilling.

I agree with Jeff that you have to have the body on to place them. Before doing so, you should decide if you're going to also install the black ABS plastic wheel well liners that Shane at Vraptor Speedworks sells. If you install the elephant ears in the "typical" position the well well liners may end up too close to the fender lip and you'll see the bulb seal on the wheel well liners at the edge of the fender lip. I positioned my elephant ears a little further to the rear than normal to leave room for the wheel well liners to nest in there and not be too close to the fender lip. You can see more detail here (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?31167-Greek-Guys-Garage-Roadster-Build-9509-(Nice-shoutout-on-Insta-about-my-build)&p=520117&viewfull=1#post520117). If you're not going to install the wheel well liners, then just do exactly as Jeff says.
