Quick question. Do I need these wires connected to anything, both on my transmission and at the Dash? They are coming out of the rear harness in the middle of my transmission tunnel. They seem redundant and not necessary. Both say Speed Sensor, but as I understand it my FFR Vintage speedo guage pulls speed from the GPS antenna. I appreciate the help and tips if I'm way off base!
Thanks,
-Bryan

As Mike says, you don't need those wires. They go to a speed sensor with an electrical plug on one end, and a gear on the other that mates in a socket on the transmission. Check your transmission to see if you can find the socket; on the T5, it's hidden in a 2-3" deep recess. You'll want to block that recess, either with the (unconnected) speed sensor that came with your kit, or with a block off plate. Of course all this is moot if the TKX doesn't have that recess...

Those wires plug into the speed sensor on the tail shaft of the T5 I have. On the other end the green wire connects to the speedo speed input connection. The grey wire is grounded.
