Hey Folks,

Can someone help me identify the paint/code of this original cobra? I'm also trying to gather the specs of the tires and wheels as well. Piecing together what my future build will look like.

My initial research is showing Vineyard green as the color. What other info would I need to match the color?

Vineyard Green was a 289 color. The registry lists "Ivy Green" for the 427 cars.

Thats interesting. I've seen ivy green and it doesn't look like this.

Here is a vineyard green original 427 car that sold at Barrett Jackson. Scroll down the page a bit to see it.

I dunno, I only took notice because in the youtube video, dude specifically said the 427 green was a different green from the 289s. Here queued to 2:45:

I did see that too maybe you’re right? Can you provide a link to the color registry?

Although it doesn’t explain the original Barrett Jackson car

Mike,

Without reaching out to the owner(s), you'll never be able to match the color from an online (tweaked for publication) set of pictures. Plus, everyone elses phone, computer, Ipad, etc shows the color differently.
