Based on the FFR instructions, I believe i need to put these two NPT brass threads into the bottom's of the hydraulic reservoir tanks. Should I add a high temp thread locker to this, something like the Permatex 59214? I wasn't sure because of the mix of metals, brass and aluminum/chrome?
Likewise, I haven't added any thread locker to my other threaded hydraulic unions, just a drop of brake fluid as I snug them up. Same here?

Thanks,
-Bryan

Raw brass and aluminum do not play well together. With that said, it is used together very often. I used a quality thread sealant on the those fittings. No pressure on those fittings.

I used standard Teflon Tape and had no issues. The temperature isn't going to be an issue but you want something to keep the threads from binding or galling.
