This is my front left lower arm grease boot. Should it look this deformed? Once I tightened the spindle it looks a bit crushed. Does this need to be re-done before I get too far or is it "ok".
Thanks for your help!

Do yourself a favor now, before the entire car is built and just replace the boots with Energy Suspension parts. My issue was with the upper boots, but here are some pics.

The base of the blue boot appears to have slid up a bit. Slide it down, and when the suspension is at ride height (engine in, wheels and tires on, etc), it won't be as deformed.

I could sure be wrong but it looks to me like there is a black boot under the blue boot.

Mine look like this. I think you're right...someone added an extra blue boot on top of the black boot.

i'm building a 35 truck but my ball joints had boots on them and then the instructions told me to put the supplied boots on too. I wonder if the instructions didn't get updated and some are putting boots on top of boots.....

I'm sure the understanding would be, to remove one, before installing the other?

Do what Papa said. I had to after I found my FFR boots cracked at 500 mile check up.
P.s may help to fill the boots after install. I waited until build complete. Conceivable stress of the rubber at such deflated state contributed.
